What is Manifesting?
Manifesting is a huge buzzword right now. Which is great because more people are learning how to co-create with the universe. Manifesting is the act of calling in or attracting something into life. It can be anything. You can manifest a job, a house, or a car. You can manifest a romantic partner, a business partner or friends. You can even manifest a better body or quality of life, the possibilities are infinite. As corny as it sounds, if you can think it or dream it you can bring it into reality.
How Do You Manifest?
It’s easy, once you get the hang of it. At first it can feel quite strange or unnatural but with practice you can become a strong magnet for all of the things you desire in life. Here are five steps to becoming a powerful manifestor.
Start Small
If it’s your first day at the gym you probably won’t be bench pressing 200 pounds. You’d probably start with a simple bicep curl on 5 pound or 10 pound weights and work your way up. Before you try to manifest a million dollars, start with $100 or $500 or $1,000. If $1,000 isn’t a lot of money to you start with $5,000 or $10,000 and work your way from there.
Practice Gratitude
Begin my acknowledging all that you have in your life and be appreciative of it. From there begin being grateful for what you’d like to call into your life. I currently have an office job that pays me $33 a hour. I want to manifest a remote job that pays me $100,000 a year. My journal entries when trying to manifest that new job would look something like this:
Bonus tip: Be specific, that way you can get exactly what you want.
Focus On The Positive
Focus on what you want, don’t focus on what you don’t want. I currently have $15,000 in student loan debt, instead of saying I’m thankful to be debt free which focuses on debt, a negative I would say something along the lines of, I am thankful for this bonus check of $15,000, I am thankful for this asset producing $15,000 this month or I am thankful for this excess $15,000 in my bank account. If you’re struggling to find a positive way to frame what you desire just go online to a thesaurus and look up the antonym of the word your thinking of
Disclaimer: The universe may rearrange some things in your life so you can have what you want.
My friend was growing tired from the stress of her job at a competitive law fire. She wants to manifest a less demanding work life. Instead of saying I am thankful for this stress free job she’d affirm by say I am thankful for this tranquil work environment. If you’re remodeling your home, you’re probably going to get rid of some old stuff to make room for the new. It might be time to quit, be fired or laid off from that stressful job in order to become a writer, musician or start that passion project you’ve always dreamed of.

Align Your Actions With Your Intentions
Are you prepared to step out of your comfort zone to achieve your wildest dreams? Good because it’s essential for this next step (this is also the part where most people mess up). If you want a new job that pays six figures a year, it’s a waste of time to be applying to low wage customer service, retail job, or food service jobs. If you want to find love, it’s not likely to happen if you hide away in your bedroom watch YouTube videos and never talk to anyone. If you want to lose 15 pounds it’s definitely not going to happen if you don’t exercise, have a poor diet or just sit around and hope for it to happen. Manifesting requires, setting the intentions then aligning your actions to follow. This is the more practical grounded realistic side of manifestation. You’re gonna have to put in work. You’re gonna have to be consistent if you want to see results.
Let Go
This is the most important part of manifesting. Trust the universe is bringing to you what you’ve asked for. When you order a package online you don’t spend every moment from the time you ordered it to when it arrives thinking of the package. You forget about it go on about your life and trust that it will arrive.I want you to think of the universe as a merchant and you as a customer, you ask for a new job and the universe begins working on aligning that for you. What you’re asking for is custom made & tailored just for you. It’s not just sitting around in some stock room. But you are constantly pinging the merchant checking in on the status of your order.
Now that you have the knowledge to become a powerful manifestor what is the first thing you’ll call in for yourself?
